Victoria Johnson

SHAMAN | TEACHER | WRITER

Victoria Johnson, is a seasoned practitioner and experienced teacher of shamanic arts. She maintains her practice, Condor Journey, near Asheville, North Carolina, and provides workshops locally and globally.

Victoria’s passion is in helping her clients and students to reclaim their original grace and destiny in order to create courageous new stories. Her work draws from ancient traditions of shamanism, myth, and energy medicine, as well as cutting edge science and conscious evolution practices.

Victoria, who is fully initiated into the traditions of the Q’ero medicine people of Peru, has taught this medicine since 2006, and has worked as a shamanic practitioner since 2004. She is certified by the Four Winds Society in Energy Medicine, Soul Retrieval, and Destiny Retrieval.

For several years, Victoria served as lead faculty for The Four Winds Society, an international shamanic training and research organization established by Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D. As a Four Winds teacher, Victoria: facilitated workshops globally; mentored students in the Healing the Light Body program; authored newsletter pieces and magazine articles; and developed, supported and led expeditions to Peru. As the Chair of Faculty, she planned and scheduled programs, mentored teachers, and helped to strengthen the organization during a significant period of transition.

Currently, Victoria offers her own shamanic training programs.

Victoria is one of the top 5 Shamans in North America. I am very very picky and have worked with some of the best from around the world, yet I prefer Victoria. She combines being solidly grounded in the here and now with the ability to take you to places that few have gone or can take you. I spend my life traveling the world dealing with challenging leaders and it’s Victoria that I go to when I need to re-center.

In more recent years, Victoria has deepened her studies directly with Q’ero Elders, Don Francisco Chura Flores, Dona Juana Apaza Ccapa, Don Mariano Quispe Flores, and Peruvian Shamans, Dona Ysabel and Dona Olinda (The Twins).

One of Victoria’s great joys has been to create, sponsor and promote local shamanic workshops with Q’ero Elders Don Francisco Chura Flores and Dona Juana Apaza Ccapa. Hundreds of individuals have experienced the shamans’ profound teaching and healing work, during these events in 2015 and 2017.

Victoria’s mentors also include internationally known Qi Gong Masters Le Yun Zhang and Zhou Ting-Jue and visionary Dr. Jean Houston.

Victoria has co-led several shamanic intensives, at a ground breaking neurological practice in Naples, Florida.

Victoria received her law degree (J.D.) from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts – English) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She holds a Masters in Oriental Medicine from the National College of Oriental Medicine. Victoria is a licensed acupuncturist in North Carolina and Florida, and has been a Board Certified Diplomat in Acupuncture since 1999.

Victoria is also a licensed minister.

Victoria’s journey from Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Assistant United States Attorney to healer began in 1993, when she experienced a health issue that responded only to energy medicine. In the process of her own healing, she came to understand that her unhealthy relationship to work had created serious imbalance in her life. She had become disconnected from her own soul’s calling and expression. This realization led her to leave the practice of law to study ancient healing traditions. Now, she offers the wisdom she has gathered to her students and clients.

Q’ero Elders Visit the Apus of North Carolina

In the summers of 2015 and 2017, The Condor Journey sponsored Q’ero Elders Don Francisco Chura Flores and Dona Juana Apaza Ccapa, in their visits to the Asheville, NC area.

The Elders offered hundreds of grateful people personal sessions and weekend workshops. In addition, the Elders accomplished several land clearings and blessings, and worked to heal both Pachamama (The Earth) and Mama Cocha (the waters).

Here are some photos from this year’s stunning water ceremony in Dupont Forest.

In deepest gratitude for these incredible teachers and their medicine….

Victoria
